TCV Food Bank + Thrift Store loves hosting student volunteers. Our organization feels it is important to get everyone involved in volunteering and we encourage students to join our team. We will verify and sign off on volunteer hours that are completed on our site towards the volunteer requirements set by your school.
Foodbank volunteer shifts are available Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-3:30pm and Fridays 9am-12pm. Please come 15 minutes early. Volunteers must be on time to participate. Volunteer duties may include helping clients with food selection, restocking food, and sorting food donations. The need for volunteers is greatest Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.
Thrift Store volunteer shifts are available Mon-Thurs, from 8am-4pm and Fridays 9am-12:30pm. Volunteer duties may include sorting and pricing donations, moving donations to the sales floor, merchandising, and working the front register. The need for volunteers is greatest on Thursdays.
