Tri-City Volunteers Keller Williams

Just in time for back to school, Bonnie and Roseanne of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Fremont, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, coordinated an effort to deliver over 60 backpacks packed full of school supplies to give out to our clients who have children. Thank you so much for your efforts - you've made some Tri-City children and their parents very happy!

Also in August, we visited the Fremont Festival of the Arts, and met hundreds of lovely people who were interested in our organization! Thanks to all who entered our raffle and visited us!

In August, the Crosspoint Chinese Church of Milpitas visited us to help bag canned items for our clients, and in just under three hours, filled over 2,000 bags - perhaps a new record! We at TCV would like to thank these wonderful youths, their parents, and Pastor Peter Jung for helping out. Your hard work makes all the difference!

In July, the Holy Spirit Church of Fremont organized a drive for grocery bags that resulted in nearly 400 bags being collected and donated to us! Thank you to Father Mathew and all who gave!

June VIFE Concert: In mid-June, Judy Lam and the Virtuoso International Flute Ensemble put on an incredible show of musical talent for our community, and generously donated all proceeds from the event to TCV. The music was wonderful, and her VIFErs are incredibly skilled. TCV would like to extend a huge "thank you!" to all involved in making this happen - it means the world to us and our clients!

Bagging Events, May 2011: Tri-City Volunteers would like to thank Keller Williams and the Crosspoint Chinese Church of Milpitas for visiting our food bank en masse and helping to bag over 2,000 bags of groceries, as well as 1,000+ lbs. of pasta, all for our hungry clients. Thank you for your amazing show of support for our community!

Easter 2011: Tri-City Volunteers would like to thank St. Joseph School of Fremont and various other community supporters for their donations of Easter baskets. You have made some Tri-City children very happy with your generous gifts!

In January 2011, REI donated eight boxes of jackets and winter wear to us to distribute to our homeless and extremely low-income clients. Thank you, REI, for your generous gift!
